About Kaitlyn
For many years I have been spreading sound and vibrational therapy using Himalayan Singing Bowls to guide and relax the nervous system. I am a licensed Massage Therapist with training in Prenatal and Postnatal massage, and I have formal training and certification in labor and birth support. My Doula education was through Birth Art International and 25 hours through The Birth Company a Dona International training.
I will never forget my first birth experience as a Labor Massage support person, and I will forever be grateful to have been a part of my client's story. Watching her kick-ass during each contraction, teaching her husband massage techniques, watching him thrive, and giving birth to her baby awoke my passion. Seeing how beneficial massage and support helped the birthing process, I knew this was exactly where I needed to be. My values as your Labor support Doula & Massage therapist, is to provide unbiased, compassionate, evidence-based emotional and physical support throughout the labor process. I am not part of your medical team; I am part of your support team. Help you to understand your options. YOU make the choices about your birth. I will support you and your birth based on your needs and help create awareness through massage, sound therapy, guided meditation, and movement. I will empower you and your partner throughout the entire Labor and delivery helping you tap into your badass confidence!

I will help you relax, find your rhythm and remember your ritual.

You are important to me. I dedicate much time to learning who you are and what you inspired for your birth.
Before the baby is born, we'll schedule a prenatal visit. I meet with couples at least twice, more if needed! We will get to know one another, discuss your goals for birth, and cover any questions you may have.

You can receive one prenatal and one postpartum Massage within the package. Of course, you can come for a massage as much or little as you prefer.
During labor, I will always be nearby to provide comfort and support techniques like breathing, Massage, relaxation, and emotional and verbal support. My role is not to take the place of the pregnant person's partner but to complement and enhance the experience for both people. It is an intimate moment that both parents should share.
Then I will follow up within the first week after birth and focus on your needs for that visit. We will schedule a postpartum massage visit when you feel well and comfortable.
